Lambretta.ca – Scooter Weblog

I got a call from the guys this morning, its great weather today so my place was chosen to do body work on the scoots.  They arrived around 11:00 a.m. unloading their frames, leg shields panels and we started around noon in my back yard to start de-greasing (Varsol and paint brush) and sanding.  Chris is lending me what parts that I need, what a great guy.  We have three frames to work on today, panels if we can get to them.  We put in about 5 hours today of de-greasing and sanding.  We found a good use for a BBQ frame from last summer.  I put the BBQ out to the curb end of last summer, but some one came by and gutting the darn thing and left just the frame.  I brought it in the backyard to dismantle it but never got around to it.  Came in usefull today during our makeship backyard body shop.

Need to wipe down the dirt and grime then, sand off the rust.

One house keeping note, I have build out categories for each of the three scooters.  Partially to keep things organized and to let the other guys put some details to their own builds.
